In a very small town in the hinterland outside of Brisbane is an amazing little museum. The Peachester Heritage Centre hosts an extraordinary exhibit of whittling by an amazing craftsman Jim Hall. In addition of whittling he constructed displays of his work that moved. Every piece was carved by hand from one piece of aged Beachwood that had been discarded by early timber cutters.
