I heading back. Going from fall to spring. The wildflowers are blooming in Woodside Park and a need to be there. I need to see them this year. On this day 15 years ago Dutchman’s Breeches were in full bloom.

Dutchman’s breeches are featured in my new book which I’m writing. I find peace in wild places.

Right now there seems to be so much conflict in the world. I want to promote peace and protection for the wild places that are left.

People in Australia are very concerned with what is happening in the USA. I’m going home to Wisconsin to help protect nature, and be sure that the protections we now have such as the environmental protection agency stay in place. I also want people to have access to health care, and women to whatever help they need. Women have made tremendous advances during my life, but those can be lost.
