Out of Texas to the Duluth Minnesota and Gooseberry Falls State Park

We rushed passed southern Minnesota stopping briefly in Waseca MN, and the city of Minneapolis. Then we went to Duluth to give my Australian friend a glimpse of Lake Superior. Unfortunately when we stopped at Thompson Hill our view was obscured by the smoke from the Canadian wild fires.

We stayed at Endion station inn a converted rail station in Duluth. THe sky stayed gray from the fires.
